May 22-23, 2010	The Festival in Commemoration of the International Day for Biological Diversity and the Six-Month Countdown to COP 10 at Oasis 21 was held on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, 2010. Despite rainy weather on the second day, the event attracted many visitors.

March 13, 2010	A Biodiversity Symposium was held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the Meiho Building in Toyohashi attracting an audience of 250.
January 17, 2010	"International Year of Biodiversity" Opening Event was held on January 16, 2010 at Meitetsu Hall in Nagoya attracting an audience of 900.
January 16, 2010	Aichi-Nagoya COP 10 CBD Promotion Committee started seeking volunteers for COP 10 from January 16. The closing date for application is March 8, 2010.
October 13, 2009	Biodiversity Festival was held on October 10 and 11, 2009 at Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park in Nagakute, Aichi, followed by Biodiversity Forum held on October 12 at Nagoya Congress Center in Nagoya, attracting about 20,000 visitors.
